Tsavo National Parks

The joint mass of Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks forms one of the largest National Parks in the world that covers a massive of 4% of Kenya’s total land area. Tsavo East that lies to the East of Nairobi Mombasa road is the larger of the two. It offers a vast and untapped arena of arid bush which is washed by the azure and emerald meanderings of the Galana River, guarded by the limitless lava reaches of the Yatta plateau while patrolled by some of the largest elephant herds in Kenya.
One enjoys dust-red elephants, the beautiful Aruba dam on the north bank of seasonal Voi river( visited by thousands of animals, making it a great game-viewing destination). Also is Mudanda Rock which is a whale-backed rock towers above a natural dam( it draws hundreds of elephants. There migrating birds from all over the world.
There is the Lugard’s fall named after Lugard(the first proconsul in E.Africa). Thus, attracting crocodiles. Hence, the park offers magnificient game drive in the world. Vast herds of dust-red elephant, fat pods of hippo, giant crocodile and a kaleidoscope of bird life are set against a blazing backdrop of endless bush. One can access by 2WD or air all year round.
